colder than lying naked in a snow bank
with no intention of getting up..
Numbness is cold
it’s the panic that already consumed all the contents of
that now empty shell whose eyes don’t see like they used to
but the panic never leaves, it’s still there, strangling
Cold, colder than the loneliness of the time
when you can’t stand even your own presence
when it’s unclear who you are
You don’t know if clarity exists anymore
